• Draw up a contract

• Do not be afraid to ask questions

Dealing with problems

If you follow this advice then there should'nt really be a problem. But if you encounter difficulties mid-build please be realistic; Builders are only human, so if your project is not going according to plan you must talk to your Builder at the first opportunity and explain what you feel is wrong.

Talk to the main person

Telling site workers to change things mid-construction will not only cause problems within the team but also confuse everyone as to what you really want, make sure you get your point across to the right person.
